Terms & Conditions for BLAIRARCHIBALD

By approving these terms and conditions thus confirming your order, a binding agreement is entered into. When we receive your order, you will receive an automatic confirmation via e-mail that details your order. We reserve the right not to deliver in the event that the stock level was incorrect at the time of receiving the order. Should we be unable to deliver in accordance with the terms outlined in the confirmation, we will contact you and give you the opportunity to cancel the order. Please read the terms & conditions before placing an order with BLAIRARCHIBALD.
Any current running promotions where discount codes are issued are limited to one use per customer per transaction. Discount is valid from time of issue till confirmed end date unless specified otherwise. Any items purchased with a discount code or at a reduced price are non-refundable and cannot be returned or exchanged. Delivery times for items purchased during sale periods or with discount codes may incur delays.
Credit / Debit Cards - we accept most major credit cards (Visa / Mastercard / Amex) credit card rates vary between credit card providers. When paying by card you will be asked to enter the card number, the expiry date (or period of validity) and the CVC code located on the back of the card. We do not store card details after a transaction has been carried out. There is a 0% transaction fee on all orders.
Afterpay - We offer Afterpay through our checkout portal as well as a price indicator of payment instalments on each individual product page. You will need to sign up to Afterpay and create and account prior to using this service. Sign up at www.afterpay.com.
ApplePay - At checkout we offer ApplePay as a quick and user friendly method of payment, particularly when using your mobile device. You will need to set up ApplePay through your Apple ID prior to checkout.
Paypal - Paypal allows secure payment with you credit / debit card. You will be redirected to Paypal to finalize your order when checking out. More information is available at www.paypal.com.
GooglePay - Google Pay is a digital wallet platform and online payment system developed by Google to power in-app, online, and in-person contactless purchases on mobile devices, enabling users to make payments with Android phones, tablets, or watches.
Payment on premises (Australian Residents only) - If you are living / visiting Melbourne you have the option of paying in person at our city studio. Note: date / time will have to be negotiated prior to picking up an order and can be done by using our contact page.
Prices do not include delivery fee. We retain the right to adjust incorrect prices. Prices are shown in Australian dollars by default however we have listed a selection of currencies that we support which you can find at the bottom of the screen. Selecting an alternative currency will automatically adjust the prices based on the current exchange rate of your chosen country. BLAIRARCHIBALD is linked to www.xe.com which refreshes the exchange rate for prices on the site twice a day. The currency you select will be synced with your most recent visit and will become the default currency for your browser while shopping with us.
In some instances fabric may become unavailable for certain styles in which case a substitute fabric is sourced and should a style not be available for purchase in the fabric advertised then images of a substitute fabric will be sent to the customer via e-mail. The composition, handle and weave will be as close to the original as possible however colours may vary slightly. Styles that may have a fabric subject to change are outlined in their product descriptions.
CUSTOMS & IMPORT CHARGES
Any customs or duties are charged once the parcel reaches its destination country. These charges must be paid by the recipient. Unfortunately we have no control over these charges and cannot tell you what the cost would be as customs policies and import duties vary widely from country to country. We recommend contacting your local customs office to find out the current charges before you order so you are not surprised by charges you weren't expecting.
When your order leaves our studio you will receive a tracking number which you can use to track you order.
Orders are shipped using Sendle or Australia Post.
Sendle - orders are collected within 2-3 business days of the order being processed through the BLAIRARCHIBALD store. You will receive a tracking number and details of dispatch via e-mail.
Australia Post - orders include tracking and can be insured at the request of the customer. All orders shipped through Australia post are checked with a basic return policy; if the item cannot be delivered to the address provided by the customer. BLAIRARCHIBALD will attempt a second delivery at the customer's expense and will communicate this through e-mail.
Shipping within Australia - We provide flat shipping rates both standard and express post Nationwide based on the size of the parcel however if there are changes to shipping rates you will notified via e-mail prior to your order being dispatched.
International Shipping - Sendle calculates a shipping rate which is displayed at checkout and offers both standard / express shipping. If shipping rates do not calculate for your chosen destination please contact us and we will provide a shipping cost for your order.
DELIVERY TIMES & COSTS
Goods will be dispatched during business days and you will receive a notification when your order is accepted, processed and shipped out. Delivery times vary based on destination, standard or express shipping and customs regulations upon arrival.
Please note that some items through the BLAIRARCHIBALD e-store are made-to-order in-house which require longer lead times. This process is to ensure production of more complex garments remain in Australia. If you purchase an item that needs to be produced in-house - we will contact you with an estimated delivery date as well as offer the option for you make any custom changes to the garment (custom changes are limited to standard alterations such as sleeve or pant length, body length).
RETURNS & EXCHANGES
Please choose carefully as BLAIRARCHIBALD will only offer a refund if the product delivered differs from that of what is advertised on the storefront or is faulty. We are happy to offer a credit to the e-store or an exchange however all tags must remain on the garment and must not display any signs of wear or damage. Please note that you are responsible for the product until it reaches us. Be sure to send the package with the dispatch number to us so we can track it. An exchange or refund will only be offered once the item/s have reached the BLAIRARCHIBALD studio. Once the item arrives we will contact you to confirm delivery and undergo a quality control check. We will then either provide a refund or freeze payment on the item/s until you have selected another item in which to exchange it for. Products may only be exchanged for other products from BLAIRARCHIBALD. NB: If you wish to make an exchange contact us to reserve another product/size. There is no refund or exchange on special items, custom orders or sale items.
HOW TO MAKE A RETURN
Items can be returned within 14 days of receiving your order. When returning goods by post please ensure you include the original packing slip from the order and clearly print your 'From Sender' details so we can match it to your original order. NOTE: You are responsible for the product until it reaches us including cost of freight.

We have the right to assert force majeure in the event war, warlike event, civil war, revolution, government sanction, strike, lockout, blockade, natural disaster or the like. This means that the agreement will not need to be fulfilled in part or in full. Should this, contrary to our expectation, occur, we will attempt to notify you.
